If you know me, you know that one of my favorite sites to go for a good bargain on clothes is SHEIN!
SheIn does a great job at providing different types of attires for events at affordable prices. Sometimes, I don’t even know how I get caught up in their little rabbit hole of getting certain things from their store.
Recently, I had a long conversation with myself about switching out my clothes and decluttering my wardrobe to fit a more minimalist aesthetic (more on that in another article).
In the past, I usually went for colorful prints, edgy aesthetics, preppy styles and everything else in between. Now, I’m currently at a point in my life where things are changing around and within me, so I want my outer self to reflect the new woman I’m becoming.
Now that I’m 30 years young, I really want to polish up my style to fit a more chic, minimalistic, elegant, and classy look.

It’s All Fun & Games Until..
I swear, I wasn’t even looking for these corsets! One day, I was just scrolling on Facebook minding my own got dang business and one of those snarky little ads on the right panel was showing this model who had a cute white corset on and that’s when I clicked… like a sucker.
At first, I wasn’t going to get the corset but seeing all the amazing reviews from those happy little customers just blew me away lol.
The PARTHEA Boning Satin Corset comes in 6 different colors: Apricot, Black, Orange, Red, White, and Mint Green. The sizes vary/range from XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Some of the sizes are available with certain colors and some are not, so make sure to double check.
Try these SheIn Corset Outfit Ideas!
Just a heads up on the sizes – you might want to check the size guide and read through the reviews carefully to see what other people are saying to get the appropriate size for your body type.
Personally, I’m in between sizes of a Small and a Medium, so I went with a size Small because I like my corsets to fit really tight.
On SheIn’s site, the white corset looked absolutely stunning, so I ended up buying it to see how it would look in person. When it came and looked so bomb on me, I just had to get it in 2 additional colors – black and orange. From there, I styled 3 different corset top outfits to give simple ideas of the different types of attire you can wear with these corsets.

A Formal Attire
The different types of attire that I will be going over are the Formal, Casual, and Edgy attire. First up is the Formal Style!
For the formal look, I paired the white corset with some black high waisted pants from Zara and black strappy heels from DSW.
It was really nice to see the pretty contrast of the white color on my beautiful dark skin. This corset will definitely look amazing at a bridal/engagement party or paired with some white pants for an all-white affair.
Just A Casual Night
The second type of attire was the Casual Style.
Omg, like what can I say about the orange corset? It actually turned out to be way better than I thought! I mean something already about the color ORAUNNNGE just screams wear me.
The orange color was absolutely drop dead gorgeous and fit sooo well on my body. If I had to pick one of the corsets to wear every day for a week, it would definitely be this one.
At first glance, these corsets look like they can only be worn for fancy events or certain places but this orange one, babbbyyy – let me tell you, it gave grab some wine and chill at home vibes. It was just so comfortable and didn’t look like it was trying too hard to be something it wasn’t.
For the casual look, I went with these wide pant jeans from H & M, black vans, minimal jewelry from SheIn, and added a light sweater in a forest green color, just in case it got chilly.
This outfit is great for lounging around, going to a friend’s crib, or attending a cute day date or something.

An Edgy Affair
Last but never least is the last type of attire – the Edgy Style.
I mean, who doesn’t love an all-black affair? Ever since getting on this minimalistic trip, black and white have always been my go to colors for pulling off a quick minimalistic look. I’m still working on getting rid of clothes I’ve out-grown so that I can make way for long wearing pieces that will last forever and ever.
As you can imagine, it takes a while to part with a majority of my clothes, so I’m definitely taking my time to declutter and remove any items that I no longer need or want.
For this particular look, I was rushing a bit to put something together, so please forgive me this one time. Even though I bought all of the corsets in a size Small, for some reason, the black corset fit way more tighter than the other two corsets. Don’t get me wrong, I like my corsets to fit tight but the difference in tightness compared to the other corsets was just weird.
With that being said, you can never go wrong with pairing this SheIn corset with some high waisted jeans, a satin choker, and ShoeDazzle boots that were made for walking.
I absolutely loved pairing the satin choker with this satin corset because it looked like they came together as a pair. The black booties with the party in the back just added that bit of edge/interest that I was looking for.
This outfit would look great to wear on a girl’s night out or a fun trip to New York City!

Closing Time
Overall, I would highly recommend these corsets for purchasing!
Even though the weird tight feeling of the black corset was the only issue, I really love the fit of all of them. The SheIn corsets are true to the colors shown online and they pair really well with a lot of items in my closet.
What do you think of these corsets? Which one was your favorite look and will you be purchasing one too? Let me know down below!
Corsets are great and the fact they can be styled with just about any article of clothing makes them all the merrier.
I have a few and will resume wearing them once I can get rid of this dsrn postpartum belly! Lol
