When you’re not in the mood, it can be really hard shopping for hours in a store you don’t want to be in the first place. Sometimes you’re in the store for so long, you even forget what you came in there for. 

The same thing can happen when you go online shopping — you waste a lot of hours looking for God knows what, can’t find what you’re looking for and finally you give up because you have no clue where to look next.

That is why I want to save you the time and energy of searching all over the web for your next perfect coat or jacket. It is my personal mission to help you find the best looks that will make you feel amazing wherever you go. 

Regardless of the price tag (cue some Jessie J, please), I believe you can look amazing in these inexpensive finds.

ASOS DESIGN REVERSIBLE TEDDY JACKET

The color of this jacket (called Ecru) is everything! It pairs well with a lot of simple solids like black, white, and grey, it has a hoodie, side pockets, it’s true to size, has sheep-skin like fabric on the inside and it also serves as the best cover-up when you don’t want something too heavy on. I think that the best thing about this jacket is that it’s reversible! How cool is that?

AMAZON ESSENTIALS MEN’S DENIM TRUCKER JACKET

In every closet, it’s essential to have a staple denim jacket. It’s even better when you find it at a price you can afford. This jacket comes in five different colors — black wash, grey wash, light blue wash, medium blue wash, rinsed wash — and in six different sizes from Small to XX-Large. 

The jacket features a button-up front, a fold-over collar, chest and hand pockets. Please be mindful that the price for this jacket might fluctuate up and down so you may want to keep an eye out for that. But at the current price of $37.36, you can expect to get free shipping!

SINGLE BREASTED WOOL MIX OVERCOAT

Until now, I didn’t know that the website boohoo.com had a separate site just for men. The boohooMAN site features this single-breasted wool overcoat with hand pockets. The length of the coat hits mid-thigh and it comes in the color camel. The sizes range from XS-XL.

If you’re unsure of the size to purchase, the site offers a FITFINDER so you can put in your height, weight, belly shape, chest shape, your age, and your fit preference. It’s actually really neat!

COLUMBIA ROAN MOUNTAIN JACKET – MEN’S

From the site Backcountry comes this awesome two-tone colored mountain jacket that’s totally waterproof. On the jacket, there are zippered hand pockets, and adjustable hood, cuff tabs, and drawcord hems.

A user said Great fit, completely waterproof and unbelievably warm.

MEN’S FLEECE LINED CAMO JACKET, CREATED FOR MACY’S

This pick is for all of those camo lovers out there. Please stand up! The site says that the color is an olive cargo. I think this choice is perfect for those who like camo but don’t want that in-your-face hunting camo look. 

The button-front jacket has four front flap pockets, is a classic fit, has a spread collar, four front flap pockets, is machine washable, and is Weatherproof Vintage.

AMAZON ESSENTIALS MEN’S LIGHTWEIGHT WATER-RESISTANT PACKABLE HOODED PUFFER JACKET

This is actually one of my favorite picks because it’s lightweight, water-resistant and you can pack it away and take it wherever you want with it. It comes in five different colors — charcoal heather, olive heather, black, navy, and grey. The sizes also range from XS to XX-Large. 

The jacket is machine washable, has elastic cuffs, zip pockets, a hood and it’s super comfortable. How could you go wrong with this puffer jacket?

MEN FLUFFY YARN FLEECE FULL-ZIP JACKET

Now, this jacket is great because it comes in a wide selection of eleven colors and the sizes include XXS to 3XL. The best thing about it is that it’s not bulky looking, has a more relaxed feel, spread collar, and tailored cuffs to block the cold air out. I really dig the 46 yellow color and the 17 red color.

NOAK TECHNICAL WADDED OVERCOAT IN BLACK

I think this is the first long coat that goes past the knees that I featured on here. It takes a lot of confidence to rock a look like this. Sometimes a really long overcoat like this can seem like it’s swallowing you up but when paired strategically with a specific outfit, it can look bomb as f.

ALPINE SWISS VANCE MENS WOOL BLEND BUTTON UP COAT

This button-up coat offers a simple and classic wool blend with a laydown collar, two front angled pockets and a hidden button-up closure. The coat runs small, has a slim fit, comes in two colors — black and grey — and ranges from XS to XX-Large.

PULL&BEAR LIGHT PUFFER JACKET IN RUST

I just love puffy jackets. I really love the color (orange) of this jacket as well!

Imagine the amount of layering that you can do with this jacket, especially with the high neck, functional pockets and the padded style of this look. The jacket is a regular fit, has a fastening zipper, hand pockets and the sizes left are S, M, and L.

MEN DENIM JACKET

If you cannot get enough of denim jackets, here is another option for you.

This old school denim jacket with a modern flair comes in two different colors — 68 blue (darker blue) and 63 blue (lighter blue). The sizes range from XXS – 3XL. The look has a modern wide-fit and offers a very comfortable feel.

FASHCIAGA MEN’S HOODED FAUX FUR LINED QUILTED WINTER COATS JACKET

Here’s another overcoat look from the boohooMAN site. This coat is available in the color navy and comes in sizes S to XL. On the overcoat, the buttons are hidden showing off the angled funnel neck look of the coat.

The navy color is awesome because it adds a little bit of color into your wardrobe and pairs well with a lot of winter looks.

G-STYLE USA MEN’S MA-1 BOMBER STYLE ANORAK JACKET

Even though this jacket comes in four different colors — black, olive, camo burgundy, camo olive, my favorite is the olive color. According to Amazon, this classic style should be in every guy’s closet.

The jacket offers extended length, there is a drawstring on the hood and waist for temperature control, and the fishtail back can be buttoned up. And did I mention that it comes in a dope looking olive color?

ASOS DESIGN JACKET WITH WAX FINISH AND FLEECE COLLAR IN BLUE

This jacket is really interesting because it has this fleece collar that brings a little bit of intrigue to this look. The jacket has a borg lining, offers a concealed zip and press-stud fastening, has utility-style pockets and it’s a regular fit. The sizes range from XXS to XXL. 

I love the blue color that it comes in, I just wish it came in more colors such as black, denim light blue, or even camel.

MEN OVERSIZED ANORAK PARKA

This oversized parka is an instant hit! Especially with its emphasis on texture and durability, you don’t have to worry about comfortability and functionality.

The parka offers a water-repellent later for protection from the rain and dampness. It also gets a breathable mesh inner lining, comes in sizes XXS to 3XL, and offers a few solid color options like black, blue, and yellow as well as some two-toned colored options like 32 beige and 69 navy.

All of these coats & jackets are transitional pieces that can be worn all year-round. They also all pair well with a lot of simple basics like T-shirts and jeans.

I would recommend saving the pea coats, topcoats, and traditional coats for work-related functions or “professional/fancy” occasions and the jackets for more “casual” moments.
